Please remember to pack your child’s book bag with extra clothing, no matter what grade level. Children spill drinks and food on themselves or fall in mud puddles on the playground. Students will remain in the classroom except for cases of incontinence or blood on the child’s clothes.

Blaney Elementary Teacher Randi Ray was named 2025 Kershaw County School District (KCSD) Teacher of the Year at a celebration tonight, while North Central High Teacher Emily Densmore was chosen as first alternate.
In the upcoming weeks, we will begin our end-of-year testing here at Camden Elementary School. The South Carolina College and Career READY Assessment (SC READY) is a statewide assessment in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science, which will assess student performance in South Carolina College and Career Ready Standards.

5th grade is so excited to go on our overnight Camp Gravatt field trip in May! Also, mark your calendars for our mandatory parent meeting on April 10th. There will be two sessions available to attend. Sessions are at 9:30am and 5:30pm. Parents only need to attend one session. Please reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions or concerns.
