Biography:

I am so happy to begin my 7th year as Assistant Principal here at Camden Elementary School, our Camden Colts are the best!  I started my career in education in 2006 after graduating from the University of South Carolina-Upstate with my bachelor's in Elementary Education. In 2009, I earned a Master’s degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College, and in 2016 I earned a Master’s in Administration and Supervision from Southern Wesleyan University. This will be my 19th year in education and I have loved every minute!

Before becoming an Assistant Principal, I taught 5th grade for 2 years and 2nd grade for 10 years in both Lexington Two and Richland School District Two. My husband and I have one sweet daughter and to sweet pups Jake and Lilly. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my family, cooking, reading, and watching the Gamecocks play!

I believe that all students can reach their full potential through communication and a positive environment. I look forward to working with every one of you as we go through your child’s educational journey this school year.
